Yoga Teacher Training Policies and Terms of Purchase

By paying the deposit for YTT, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to follow these policies as listed.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Training runs from 9 am to 6 pm on Saturday and Sunday of the weekends listed. We begin and end promptly on time each day. Additional teaching lab sessions will be scheduled at mutually agreeable times outside of these weekends. You can also expect to have homework between sessions including reading, practice teaching, taking classes, and/or observing classes.

ATTENDANCE POLICY

Attendance at all scheduled meetings, including teaching labs, is mandatory. However, we understand that life happens, including illness, work commitments, and/or emergencies. Should extenuating circumstances impact attendance, students are permitted to miss class, provided they work with the lead trainer to make up any missed hours. If a student needs to miss any training session, he or she must speak to the lead trainer before the beginning of the session.

All missed sessions are subject to a $100 per session administrative fee.

We expect students to be on time for class, after breaks, and after lunch. Please let our faculty know if you will be late.

GRADUATION

Training concludes on the weekend of June 27 and 28. Your official graduation depends upon successful completion of teaching your final class, which is scheduled at your convenience outside of training hours once training ends. Graduation from the program is contingent upon making up any missed sessions, if applicable.

TUITION

A nonrefundable deposit of $500 secures your spot in the 2026 YTT at Heart of Wisdom Yoga. This payment will be deducted from your final total:

Tuition rate (payment plans available) - $3500

Paid in full by January 25 - $3150

Paid in full by February 25 - $3350

Tuition covers an unlimited membership at Heart of Wisdom yoga for the duration of training. Your unlimited membership begins when you pay your tuition in full or on March 21 with the start of training, whichever comes sooner. All students are expected to take at least 10 classes at Heart of Wisdom Yoga throughout the course of training, outside of listed training hours. Tuition also includes all books and reading materials needed for the training.

SLIDING SCALE/REDUCED COST SPOTS

Two sliding scale/reduced cost spots will be available on a first-come, first served-basis. We are especially focused on supporting BIPOC yoga practitioners, LGBTQ+ practitioners, and practitioners for whom finances are an obstacle to furthering their yoga studies. TUITION AND REFUND POLICY

A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due at enrollment to secure your spot in the program.
If you withdraw your enrollment thirty (30) days or more before the start of the program, you will forfeit your $500 deposit and any remaining balance paid will be refunded.
If you withdraw your enrollment between 30 and 14 days prior to program start, you will forfeit your $500 deposit and 50% of balance paid; the remaining 50% of balance paid will be refunded to you.

No refunds will be given within 14 days of the start of the training.

Program tuition fees are non-refundable once the training has begun. This includes payment plans – if you withdraw from the program for any reason after it starts, you will be responsible for fulfilling your payment of tuition.*

Payment plans are available upon request and will be mutually agreed upon between the student and the program director.

HOW Yoga will not give any refunds or credits after the training starts. We reserve the right to cancel any training before it begins. In that case any payments applicants have made will be refunded in full.

*We know life happens. While no refunds will be given, we will review any special circumstances that may prohibit you from attending YTT, and we may grant you the opportunity to defer your tuition to a future YTT session.
